This is Shiloh! Shiloh is a beautiful ? year old Umbrella Cockatoo. He was rescued last year from a drug dealer's house by a kind lady last December. She is now pregnant and cannot keep Shiloh, so he was brought to Tanya's to find a forever home. He needs to be the ONLY bird in the house as he gets very jealous when he see's the other birds getting any attention. This is typical Cockatoo behavior. Shiloh will require the largest cage available at least 3' x 3' x 5' and need's to be out of his cage as much as possible, as he is a flock animal and cannot be alone in a cage by himself for long hours. He loves to chew and can be very destructive, so when out of the cage he must be supervised at all times. Shiloh is very dusty too (feather dust), as are all Cockatoo's.
Shiloh is a very funny bird!! He talks quite a bit, such as " Shiloh is a pretty bird, get in your cage, Hello" and he mumbles WORDS too! He will let you scratch his head, and under his wing. He dances up a storm too! Shiloh will require an extremely dedicated and EXPERIENCED PARROT owner who is willing to provide significant and meaningful attention to him since he is a very intelligent parrot.
