Looking for a forever home for Cara. Cara is a 2 ½ year old female purebred Great Dane. She currently weighs approximately 105 lbs. She is black and white and was spayed upon adoption 6 months ago. She is a very angelic girl who has the ability to touch your heart and soul. She is looking for a forever home where she will get undivided attention. What she loves most, is simply sitting closely next to you with your hand upon her head or her head upon your lap. Although she does very well with other dogs, as well as, cats, she truly wants to be an only child. She is also very good with children, no matter the age. She is very tolerant, of the pinching and pulling that a toddler is capable of. In fact, she loves it. Cara is initially apprehensive of new people and surroundings but has not shown any signs of aggression and quickly settles in. As she was once an apartment dog, she loves being in the house and will snuggle for hours on her blanket. She is housebroken and lets you know when she needs to go out by standing up and staring deeply in your eyes. She loves to rough house out in the yard and play ball, so the bigger the (fenced) yard the better. She also does very well on a leash and loves to go for long walks and given the transportation space, loves to go for mountain or beach hikes (leashed of course). Cara has a small mammary cyst that was biopsied and found to be benign and proves to be unnoticeable to her. It does not require any treatment; it’s just there. If you are looking for a great companion, who is a loyal, loving and gentle giant, you could be the one for Cara.
