Hi!  My name is Max and I'm a loving, sweet 10 year old Chinese Crested Powderpuff.  I'm one of a kind and you'll know it from the moment you meet me.  Although I'm not a puppy anymore, I still enjoy playing with other dogs or by myself with a stuffed animal, and even a good game of fetch is fun if you're up for it.  Most of the time though, I'm pretty calm.  Sometimes I'll bark when I see or hear someone who's not welcome in our home.  I'm an obedience course graduate though, so I understand commands like sit, down, and go to your bed, just to name a few.  I can sleep in my crated bed just as easily as I can sleep in your bed.  I come from a family who understands that I may enjoy lots of snuggles, but sometimes I need my space too, even if it's just for a little while.  I don't shed much, but you can feel free to brush me so my fur doesn't tangle as it grows out.  I've gone to the vet for regular check-ups, so my vaccines, dental cleaning, and preventive medicines are all current.  I'm even neutered and microchipped, too.  I have no health concerns other than arthritis.  It means I can benefit from daily joint supplements and instead of going for a jog, I go for walks only now.  During walks, I will mark every tree you let me sniff, but I'm happy just staying by your side if it's that kind of day.  Sometimes strangers on bicycles and such will startle me, especially if I haven't gone outside for a while.  During nice weather I like laying outside to sunbathe.  I'll snuggle indoors too, while you watch a movie or read a book.  I'm pretty easy going really, so I can enjoy hanging out with you just about anywhere.  If you think I sound like family, come meet me!  My original human family did and they'll never regret it, even now that they can't take care of me.

All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, dewormed, and are treated with advantix for fleas and ticks. They are also micro chipped(transfer of registration to your name is $20.00). With every adoption you will also receive  coupons from PETCO.
