A nurse from Pinon Hills adopted me from the Barstow Humane Society. Because she was moving, she wanted to turn her over to us foe placement. When we saw that BHS's contract, like ours, contained a "DeGeneres" clause, we contacted them direct. Knowing who we were, they approved the turn in to us - and now Bonnie can go to a new home...the right way.
